Mitre Peninsula Expedition – Tierra del Fuego
Mitre Peninsula Expedition – Trekking Tierra del Fuego
Visit one of the most remote places in Patagonia on this multi-day trek on Tierra del Fuego. The Mitre Peninsula was once inhabited by hunters known as the Haush, and more recently, by sheep farmers. Today, only wild horses and a few guanacos roam the old estancias that dot the land here. The shipwrecks found along the coast are proof that life here can be incredibly harsh, but it’s also indescribably beautiful. Come and discover the magic for yourself as we trek through ancient forests and peat bogs at the “end of the world”.
